Happy National Pet Day!

HAPPY NATIONAL PET DAY! My dog, Zoe, means the world to me and I am so sad I am not there to give her an extra treat today. She is the best dog I could have ever asked for. She knows exactly what I am feeling, and is always there to comfort me. This was especially important over Spring Break because I was extremely sick, and I was basically in bed asleep most of the day. Zoe knew I wasn't feeling well, and was cuddled up next to me all day. She was there to bring me some sort of happiness, while I was feeling terrible. Dogs truly are mans best friend, and I can not imagine a world without a dog. Being away from her for long periods of time is hard, but seeing her excitement when I finally come home reminds me that we will never lose our bond. I am so excited to see her this weekend, and I will definitely give her a few extra cuddles for National Pet Day.
