Happy New Year!

This New Year my family had a huge party to celebrate my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. The party was amazing- props to my mom and all the hard work she put in over the past two months. The venue was beautiful, the band kept the party alive, and food was great. I would not have wanted to spend my New Years anywhere else. We were all surrounded by people we loved and we made memories that will last a lifetime.

They chose to have a live band perform at the party, and it was probably one of the best choices they made. The band played great music that kept everyone on the dance floor. I am not someone who particularly loves to dance in front of others, but the music kept me wanting to grab my cousins and keep dancing.

I am amazed at the amount of love shared between my grandparents. They have overcome so many obstacles and they are some of the strongest people I have ever met. Their relationship is one I hope to have some day in the future. Congratulations on 50 years and for all the future blessings.
