My favorite cake shop is Suzie's Cakes in Costa Mesa, California. Their cakes are consistently delicious. My best friend, Amanda, and I always stop for a couple slices of cake after a long day of shopping at South Coast Plaza. Suzie's is the perfect pick me up and a great snack to hold you over till dinner.
Amanda loves Suzie's lemon cake. Their lemon cake is tart and sweet. I also warn you that their cakes are a bit dense, which is why Amanda and I always split our slices of cake.
My favorite cake from Suzie's is their carrot cake. The carrot cake is a classic and I always feel "healthy" every time I eat it.
