Fresh Air

One of my favorite things about being an animal science major is all the hands on, outdoor activities that are available to us. This quarter I am enrolled in the goat enterprise and the Tuesday workdays are always one of my favorite days of the week. I am able to take a step back and really take-in all that Cal Poly has to offer their ag-students. Throughout this quarter I have developed a greater appreciation for the symbiotic relationship between humans-animals-and nature, like look how cute and happy all the goats look to finally be in a fresh pasture! In large pastures, like this one, the lambs love to run up and down the sides of the pasture and really take in all that their new pen has to offer.

With all the rain we have received over the past week the hills are turning green, and nature is coming to life on campus. Fingers crossed this winter brings more rainy days because we really loved splashing through puddles and enjoying warm cups of hot chocolate in the apartments.
