One of the must see spots in Los Angeles has to be Olvera Street. My family loves coming to Olvera Street every time we are in L.A. We always go to the same food stand, Juanita's. My grandparents have been coming to Juanita's ever since they were dating, and have continued to bring all their grandchildren.

I have always ordered the taquitos, and my favorite part has to be the mix of guacamole and salsa. I enjoy spicy food, and this plate always hits the spot for me. Juanita's taquitos are so good that we usually keep ordering more taquitos after we finish our plates. We can not get enough of the amazing food. The plate is such a simple creation, but the consistent quality of the food is the best part. Every time we go to Juanita's we know that we will end up loving the food.

Now with the colder weather upon us, Juanita's offered my holiday favorite, champurrado. It was my first time having their champurrado, and I was not disappointed. The champurrado was perfect for the cold weather, and a great dessert after the taquitos. This cold weather and my first champurrado of the winter season has me so excited for all the Christmas traditions. I can not wait to be making tamales with my family and enjoying late night trips to the Northgate market for my champurrado. I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving breaks, and made lots of memories with family and friends!
