After four years of being committed to an intense rowing team, I finally have my freedom to exercise the way I want. I have always wanted slim, toned muscles and in order to be competitive in crew, I had to "bulk up." I hope to lose weight and achieve a healthy weight for myself. I also hope to be happy with my body and to achieve my fitness goals this year. Being able to control both my eating habits and the amount I exercise will be a challenge for me this year, but in order to achieve a high level of overall wellness I need to find a nice balance. I will never be as fit as I was while rowing, but I hope to be able to run at least one more marathon in my life.
